Why do you want to join?
I want to join because we are all members of Taken Its Global where all of us meet and share ideas regardless of our nationalities, colours, status etc.
Secondly, I feel like joining because we are all African youths with a common agenda I as I want to believe.
For far too long now, I have been searching for such a platform for us as African youths because, I know we are already leaders. As we are trying to form a common platform, let us always avoide using those terms of our ancestors "FUTURE LEADERS" We have to be realistic about some of these terms. We are not future leaders, we are leaders now. I I want to assume majority of us are either leaders or holding responsible positions either in our organizations, families, communities, etc/. Then, why do we allow or wait for some body to give us those called tittles which does not bear any fruit for our developments as African youths? Please tell me the answers.
What are your future plans?
As an activist, I have severeal aspirations for the development in the African Continent especially for disabled and disadvantaged children and youths who are the most marginalised sector in the African Continenrt. This is so because I feel compassionate because I am a dilsabled person myself (PARTIALLY BLIND) and above it all, I have faced the same situations except that, I am some body who have not and will not allow my disability to over come because I believe, "DISABILITY OR BLIBDNESS IS OR SHOUD NOT BE THE RECIPE FOR FAILURE BUT RATHER A CHALLENGE TO EXPLORE THE POSSIBILITIES FOR SUCCESS"
Finally, my plans are to work with others so that we too will make some differences there by creating impacts on the lives of others including generations yet unborned in Africa because I believe in team work.
At the moment, I am as a student at the International Institute for Social Enterprenurs in India studying project planing and management, fundraising and other skills for social development.
